Lobster Trap was founded in 1969 as a neighborhood fish market on the Back River in Bourne. Over time, we have evolved to include a restaurant and a distribution company which services restaurants and markets world wide. Times change, but our mission has remained the same. We are committed to providing guests with the best possible products we can source, prepared with care and served with pride. After all, this isn't just a job for us, its a way of life. Now eat, drink, enjoy!

We offer complimentary valet parking during peak months. However, if on your visit there is no valet & the lot is full, continue to 304 Shore Road (other side of Back River). We have plenty of available parking there.
We do not accept reservations.
No, you may not B.Y.O.B. Massachusetts state liquor laws prohibit us from allowing outside alcohol on premises.
We are not "that place at the rotary" or "that place on Cranberry Highway". We are located at 290 Shore Road on the Back River.
No dogs are allowed in the restaurant or on the patio, with the exception of service dogs.
We are happy to be a business that has the ability to support the efforts of a neighborhood that has given so much to us.
We kindly ask that you please submit all donation requests via email. We appreciate the time and effort of you stopping by, but for the sake of our organization, we ask that all requests be submitted to info@lobstertrap.net
We try to help community based organizations, non profit organizations, sports programs, and military efforts first. Organizations around the Bourne area are first priority. We always try to fulfill the requests from customers of the Trap first.
If you email begins with “Dear Manager” or “To Whom it May Concern” you will most likely not see your request fulfilled. These donations are not free to us, and we are putting in the effort to personally respond to requests. We ask that you pay us the same courtesy.
We simply can not fulfill every request that comes our way. We are a neighborhood restaurant and always focus our efforts to our neighbors in need first. If you are sending a request for an organization outside of the Bourne/Plymouth areas, your request will most likely not be fulfilled.
Please email us at info@lobstertrap.net with requests and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
